Jefferson Medical Center, a part of the West Virginia University Hospital System, is located in the City of Ranson and provides general medical and surgical care to the Jefferson County region. The Jefferson Memorial Hospital is a 45-bed hospital with 32 full-time and 33 part-time physicians. Inpatient services include a 24-Hour Emergency Room, Level 4-trauma center, CT Scanner, MRI Service, Ultramodern Lab Facility, Home Health Service, Intensive/Critical Care Unit and Neurodiagnostic Laboratory. Outpatient services include women’s health, diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, cancer services, surgery, and physical rehabilitation.
