Located just 58 miles from the Washington, DC Beltway, Jefferson County is the Eastern Gateway to West Virginia.  It is accessible by two interstate highways - I-81 running north-south and I-70 running east-west - as well as US Route 340 and West Virginia Route 9.

International and domestic air service is just 45 minutes away at Dulles International Airport, as well as Baltimore Washington International (70 miles) and Reagan National (65 miles).   The Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport in Martinsburg offers executive charter services.
