Local agricultural opportunities are an important part of our economy.  Jefferson County is pleased to be home to some of the area’s top farms that produce and sell fruits and vegetables, poultry, lamb, beef, dairy, and even Christmas trees.  In addition, we have pumpkin patches, farm tours, horse farms, and more.  Farm markets are held throughout the year and our local farm bureau works to protect our farmland.
